Wrexham AFC have unveiled their 26/27 Away kit, produced by Macron for the club’s upcoming 2026-27 EFL Championship season.
Wrexham Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Wrexham jersey uses a dark anthracite grey base with broken red lines running across the front, sleeves and back. The graphic takes inspiration from the slate quarries of North Wales, linking the design to the slate industry in Wales.
A short mandarin-style collar and matching sleeve cuffs continue the dark grey colour scheme. The Macron Hero appears on the right chest, opposite a red, black and white version of the Wrexham crest, with both elements applied in silicone. The Firefox shirt sponsor appears across the front in white, with additional white sponsor branding on the sleeve.
A red Welsh dragon is placed beneath the back collar. Inside the neckline, a customised label includes the wording “Wrexham Is The Name”, together with Macron branding and “Designed in Bologna”. Internal hem tape carries the bilingual phrase “Our Ground, Our Spirit – Ein Tir, Ein Hysbryd”.
Technical Features
The shirt is constructed primarily from Eco 3D Knit Matrix, a technical jacquard fabric made from 100 per cent post-consumer recycled polyester. Its three-dimensional weave produces an embossed surface, while providing breathability, elasticity, durability and natural mechanical stretch to support performance and comfort. The material forms part of Macron’s Eco Fabrics programme and its wider approach to more sustainable production.
Full Wrexham Away Kit details
The Wrexham 2026/27 Away kit is completed by dark anthracite shorts featuring red side panels and matching socks with red detailing. The socks also include the Macron Hero and the club’s founding year, 1864.
