Sporting Clube de Portugal, Lisbon-based giants of the Portuguese Primeira Liga, have released a shirt to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their sole European competition victory.
Sporting won the 1964 (1963-64) European Cup Winners’ Cup Final against MTK Budapest after a replay and this latest white Nike design for 2023-24 marks that event with special golden prints near the hem and on the upper back.
Other details are in green - including the majority of the crest and the sponsor/partner logos - and the shirt was worn as part of a kit completed with white shorts and socks in the 3-0 victory over Vitória SC.
