Sheffield United Football Club have unveiled the Sheffield United 26/27 Away kit, produced by adidas for the 2026-27 EFL Championship season.
Sheffield United Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Sheffield United jersey is based on the club’s 1975-76 change strip, bringing back a white base crossed by a broad red and black diagonal sash. A monochrome Sheffield United crest is positioned within the sash, with the adidas Trefoil embroidered in black on the opposite side of the chest.
Black adidas Three Stripes run across the shoulders, continuing the colour scheme used throughout the jersey. The overlapping crew-neck collar combines black and red sections, with matching black sleeve cuffs finished by narrow red edging. MIDNITE appears as the main shirt sponsor across the front, and Village Hotels branding is applied to the sleeve.
The back of the shirt remains predominantly white, with the red and black collar treatment continuing around the neckline. Adidas AEROREADY branding is placed near the lower hem.
Technical Features
Adidas has used CLIMACOOL moisture-wicking technology in the new Blades away kit, alongside 3D knitting, body mapping and specifically engineered sections designed to support movement, ventilation and player performance.

The new Sheffield United football shirt will be worn with black shorts and white socks. Alternative combinations featuring white shorts with black adidas stripes and black socks with white cuff stripes are also available when required.
