This is the new São Paulo Futebol Clube third (“3”) shirt by adidas.
A nominally secondary-change release for the Brazilian side, the design is based on a top worn pre-match when São Paulo defeated Barcelona to win the 1992 Intercontinental Cup.
Echoing the look of the Penalty track/anthem jackets also worn in the celebrations in Tokyo 30 years ago, the upper portion is white while the shirt is black lower down and the branding of partners - including adidas - is in red.
The crest appears in full colour and the 30th anniversary kit will be completed with black shorts and a choice of red, black or white socks.
