Unione Calcio Sampdoria and Macron have unveiled the Sampdoria 2026-27 Samp kit, one of two special strips created for the club’s 80th anniversary season.
Sampdoria Kit Design & Inspiration
The shirt is based on the colours and kit worn by Ginnastica Comunale Sampierdarenese, founded in Genoa’s Sampierdarena district in 1891. Sampierdarenese later merged with Ginnastica Andrea Doria in 1946 to form U.C. Sampdoria.
A cream-white base covers the new Sampdoria jersey, with broad red and black horizontal bands extending across the front and continuing around the sides. The back is predominantly cream, with the coloured bands limited to sections beneath the sleeves.
Black knitted trim forms the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs. Macron Hero branding appears in black on the right chest, opposite a specially adapted Sampdoria crest featuring Baciccia against red, white, blue and black detailing.
A tonal embossed pattern runs throughout the cream fabric, repeating the club’s 80th anniversary emblem. The graphic combines the number 80 with the Cross of St George shield, a laurel wreath and the silhouette of Baciccia.
The commemorative symbol is also placed beneath the back collar. Inside the lower hem, a Blucerchiati-coloured tape carries the years 1946 and 2026 in gold alongside references to the trophies won by the club.
Technical Features
Macron has used Eco Poly Piquet for the shirt, made from 100 per cent recycled polyester sourced from post-consumer plastic. An Eco Micromesh back panel and Eco Mesh inserts support ventilation, reduce weight and improve comfort.
Full Sampdoria Samp Kit details
Macron has prepared two combinations to pair with the new Sampdoria football shirt. One uses black shorts with matching drawstrings and socks carrying red and black details. The alternative pairs the shirt with cream shorts, black drawstrings and cream socks finished with red and black bands around the upper section. It will be used during the 2026–27 Serie B season.
