Manchester City Football Club and Puma have unveiled the Man City 26/27 Away kit during the men’s pre-season tour of Hong Kong.
Manchester City Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Manchester City jersey uses a black base covered with a tonal pattern of worker bees, referencing one of the most recognisable symbols associated with the city. The Manchester bee represents Manchester’s industrial history and its connection with hard work, unity and resilience.
Gold detailing is applied to the crew neckline, sleeve cuffs and side panels. The Puma logo and Manchester City crest are also presented in gold, with Etihad Airways appearing across the centre as the principal shirt sponsor. Repeated club lettering is incorporated into the cuff trim, and a bee graphic is positioned inside the neckline.
The back of the Manchester City Away shirt remains predominantly black, with the bee pattern continuing across the sleeves and upper sections. Gold Puma branding is placed across the shoulders, accompanied by coordinated detailing on the sleeve.
Technical Features
The Authentic shirt is produced using Puma’s lightweight ULTRAWEAVE material, supported by dryCELL and ThermoAdapt technologies for moisture management and temperature regulation. It contains at least 50 per cent recycled material.
The Replica version uses Puma’s RE:FIBRE technology and is made with 95 per cent recycled polyester sourced from textile waste. The Manchester City 26/27 Away kit will be worn during the club’s 2026–27 Premier League and UEFA Champions League campaigns.
