The German Football Association and adidas have unveiled the Germany 2026 Third kit, which will be the final national team strip produced under their current partnership, bringing to a close a 72-year association dating back to 1954.
Germany Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Germany jersey is predominantly black, with vertical gold lines formed from repeating diamond shapes running across the front and back. The graphic continues elements used across Germany’s 2026 Home and Away shirts and represents the more than 24,000 football clubs that form the foundation of the game in Germany.
White detailing appears through the adidas Trefoil logo and four-star German Football Association crest on the chest. The shirt has a V-neck finished in white, black and gold, with matching striped trim around the sleeve cuffs. White adidas 3-Stripes run across the shoulders, with narrow gold piping separating the main body from the sleeves.
Further detailing includes “DEUTSCHLAND” in white beneath the rear collar. Near the lower hem, a special adidas label references the brand’s association with the German national team since 1954 and its origins in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
Technical Features
The shirt is constructed with jacquard fabric and features CLIMACOOL technology designed to wick and disperse sweat. A regular fit provides a relaxed silhouette.

Paired with the Germany football shirt are black shorts with white adidas stripes and the four-star crest, accompanied by black socks featuring white stripes, DFB lettering, gold detailing and the adidas Trefoil.
