FC Basel 1893 have unveiled their 26/27 Third kit by Macron, completing the club’s matchwear collection for the 2026-27 season.
FC Basel Kit Design & Inspiration
Developed in collaboration with Moris Manser, a designer and design & product consultant, the new FC Basel jersey uses a deep purple base with narrow royal blue vertical pinstripes running across the front and back. The sleeves continue the striped treatment through a tonal jacquard construction, with red piping separating the shoulder panels from the body.
An ice-white knitted polo collar provides further contrast, with the Macron Hero positioned on the right chest and the FC Basel crest opposite. Both are presented in white silicone, with the club badge given a raised three-dimensional finish. Bitpanda appears as the main shirt sponsor in white.
Additional club references include a red 1893 detail beneath the rear collar, recognising FC Basel’s founding year. Inside the lower back hem, a silicone tape carries the wording “ROT ISCH UNSERI LIEBI, BLAU DIE EWIGI TREUI”, translating to “Red represents our love, blue our eternal loyalty”.
Technical Features
Macron has produced the jersey using its Eco Fabric range, including Eco Softlock, Eco Lanman, Eco Baimi and Eco Mesh. The materials are made from 100 per cent recycled polyester and are used across different sections to provide ventilation, reduced weight and durability.

Matching dark purple shorts continue the royal blue pinstripe design and include red detailing. The kit is completed by coordinating socks featuring a red stripe around the turnover, the club’s founding year in royal blue and a white Macron Hero.
