Brighton & Hove Albion 125th Anniversary Shirt Revealed

Brighton & Hove Albion 125th Anniversary Shirt

Brighton & Hove Albion have revealed a limited-edition 125th Anniversary jersey with Nike, celebrating the club’s formation on 24 June 1901.

Brighton & Hove Albion Kit Design & Inspiration

The Brighton 125th anniversary shirt takes reference from the club’s earliest kit, using a full blue design with a classic polo collar, short button placket and matching self-fabric cuffs. Tonal detailing is used across the shirt, with the Nike Swoosh, American Express shirt sponsor and commemorative Brighton & Hove Albion crest all applied in blue.

The crest features a heritage-style seagull badge with “125 Years” below, while the inside neck includes “We are Brighton 1901-2026” detailing. Additional anniversary graphics appear on the sleeve, continuing the tonal finish across the shirt.

Technical Features

The Brighton & Hove Albion 125th Anniversary Shirt is made from recycled polyester fibres and uses Nike DRI-FIT ADV fabric technology. Paired with matching shorts and socks, it will be worn during the club's Premier League anniversary fixture in September 2026.

I see what they were going for but the final result came out just a bit "meh." The name and numbering really don't match the vibe at all.

Looks like a golf shirt. "We are Brighton", yeah, right. We're so proud of the fact we won't even place a decent badge on the kit. FFS what a ****** design.
