Borussia Dortmund 2026-27 Home Kit by Puma Revealed

Borussia Dortmund 26/27 Puma Home Kit

Borussia Dortmund and Puma have unveiled the Borussia Dortmund 2026/27 Home Kit, drawing inspiration from the industrial heritage of the German city.

Borussia Dortmund Kit Design & Inspiration

The design references two well-known Dortmund landmarks, the Minister Stein coal mine (Zeche Minister Stein) and the Dortmunder U, linking the club’s identity to the region’s industrial and mining heritage. The references also coincide with the upcoming 40th anniversary of the Minister Stein mine closure in 2027 and the 100th anniversary of the Dortmunder U.

The new Borussia Dortmund jersey retains the club’s traditional yellow (Faster Yellow) base, combined with tonal graphic detailing across the body and sleeves. The all-over textured pattern incorporates angular architectural forms inspired by industrial structures and elements of the Dortmund skyline. Black trim appears on the collar, sleeve cuffs and side panels, while white accent stripes frame the ribbed cuffs and crew neck construction.

The Puma logo is positioned in black on the chest and shoulders, paired with the Borussia Dortmund crest and two championship stars. Vodafone appears as the main shirt sponsor, with Polestar branding placed on the sleeve. The reverse features large “DORTMUND” lettering beneath the collar, while “Borussia Verbindet” is placed at the upper back neck area.

Too simple? Maybe. Doesn't change that I think it's absolute class. A future classic.

I hate dirtmund kits , u see these things in every german department store along with bayern .
It's always generic and boring. But , thus is a change from the norm of puma kits of dortmund. Nice kit tbh , simple but stylish for a gernan club

I miss the black and I don't need the pressed building details, but hey, at least we don't have the buildings in black all over the shirt! I would say a Dortmund x Puma win.
