Bolton Wanderers Football Club and Macron have unveiled the Bolton Wanderers 26/27 Third kit for their return to the EFL Championship.
Bolton Wanderers Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Bolton Wanderers jersey is predominantly yellow, with navy blue and red detailing taken from the club’s traditional colour palette. Its design references the early 1990s, when Bolton moved through the divisions from the Third Division to the First Division before reaching the Premier League.
A tonal embossed geometric graphic runs through the shirt, with Eco Everton fabric giving the surface a reflective finish linked to football kit materials used during that period. The shirt has a navy knitted polo collar with red trim, matched by navy sleeve cuffs with a red lower edge. Navy piping is also used along the sides and back neck panel.
On the front, the Macron logo appears on the right chest, with the Bolton Wanderers crest on the left. The “in the community” sponsor is placed across the centre, while additional sleeve branding appears on the left sleeve. The word “WANDERERS” is placed on the outer back neck.
Technical Features
The shirt has a Slim Fit cut and is made using Macron Eco Fabric, produced from post-consumer recycled plastic. Eco Micromesh inserts are included to support breathability and comfort.
Full Bolton Wanderers 3rd Kit details
The new Bolton Wanderers football shirt is paired with yellow shorts featuring wide navy side panels and red drawstrings. Yellow socks include a navy band with a thin red stripe and BWFC lettering, completing the full third strip for the 2026-27 EFL Championship season.
