Bolton Wanderers Football Club have unveiled the Bolton Wanderers 26/27 Away kit, produced by Macron for the club’s return to the EFL Championship.
Bolton Wanderers Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Bolton Wanderers jersey uses a burgundy base with narrow tonal vertical stripes across the front. Gold detailing appears around the crew neck, sleeve cuffs and shoulder seams, with black inserts positioned beneath the sleeves and at the sides.
The colour combination references Bolton Wanderers football shirts worn during the club’s Premier League period in the mid-2000s, when burgundy, black and gold featured on several away strips.
Macron branding and a gold version of the Bolton Wanderers crest are applied to the chest, alongside Victorian Plumbing as the main shirt sponsor. Additional partner branding appears on the sleeve. “WANDERERS” is featured in gold beneath the rear collar, with the remainder of the back kept predominantly burgundy.
Technical Features
The shirt has a Slim Fit cut and is made using Macron Eco Fabric, produced from post-consumer recycled plastic. Eco Micromesh inserts are included to support breathability and comfort.
Full Bolton Wanderers Away Kit details
The new Bolton Wanderers football shirt is paired with black shorts with burgundy side sections and gold piping around the hems. Gold Macron branding appears on one leg, with the club’s secondary mark positioned on the other. Burgundy socks feature a black and gold band near the upper section, together with gold BWFC lettering and Macron logos, completing the full away strip for the 2026-27 EFL Championship season.
