This is the new Clube Atlético Mineiro “Manto da Massa” - fans’ shirt - produced by Le Coq Sportif.
The current Campeonato Brasileiro Série A champions’ special design was created by a supporter, voted to victory in a competition and boasts a black-out general look.
Despite being limited to greyscale - grey/silver embellishment to a black base - the shirt features thin stripes to nod to the first-choice colours and, between these, images which refer to famed moments in the Galo’s history.
The crest and Le Coq Sportif logo stand out somewhat in grey/silver, matching the trim on the neck and cuffs, while there are club-specific details on the sleeves, sides of the truck and the upper back - the lattermost plugging the side’s under-construction new stadium.
