Aston Villa 2026-27 Home Kit by Adidas Revealed

Aston Villa 26/27 Adidas Home Kit

Aston Villa and adidas have revealed the Aston Villa 26/27 Home Kit, launched alongside a short film referencing the iconic Pathe newsreel format.

Aston Villa Kit Design & Inspiration

Introducing a claret-focused design inspired by football shirts worn by the club during the 1960s, the new Aston Villa home shirt moves away from the raglan sleeve construction used in recent seasons and instead features a more traditional silhouette with set-in sleeves, a fold-over polo collar, and a central collar insert detail.

The shirt is predominantly claret, combined with Glow Blue (light blue) trim on the collar and sleeve cuffs, while adidas’ white Three Stripes run along the shoulders.

A tonal textured graphic is integrated across the front panel while maintaining the single-colour appearance of the body. The adidas logo appears in light blue on the right chest, while the Aston Villa crest is positioned opposite.

What is going on with collar/neck? It ruins what would have been a nice shirt.

The second Adidas took over, I KNEW they were going to do a plain claret kit with their stripes in blue. So annoying. The sleeves should be blue.

I know it's supposedly a throwback to a previous kit, but imo you can't mess about with kit design unless you do it every year like some of the German clubs.

Not often Villa have poor kits. Apart from Cadtore kits which are all bad. No white shorts bad..Thick Adidas stripes bad. No sponsor as yet i take it. But not a great Villa kit

Hate the thick stripes. Typical Adidas abomination when they have no other ideas for a new kit. Blue shorts an absolute no for the home kit

First thing I think about new home shirts is "without the badge and sponsor, could you guess the team" and this fails miserably. Not a fan of the thick stripes either.

I don’t get the hate for this shirt. I think it looks classy, the colour collar strip I’m not over keen on but overall it’s nice. A good sponsor in the right color will also help.
