Aberdeen Football Club have unveiled their 26/27 Home kit by Macron for the 2026-27 Scottish Premiership season, following the start of the club’s new partnership with the Italian sportswear brand.
Aberdeen Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Aberdeen football shirt retains the club’s traditional red base and introduces an all-over tonal graphic inspired by leopard fur. The reference comes from the two leopards featured in Aberdeen’s city coat of arms, with subtle vertical striping incorporated throughout the fabric.
A red V-neck collar is finished with narrow white detailing, which is repeated around the sleeve cuffs. The Macron Hero appears in white on the right chest, with a simplified Aberdeen FC crest placed opposite. TEXO continues as the front-of-shirt sponsor in white.
Two white stars are positioned below the rear collar, commemorating Aberdeen’s UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and UEFA Super Cup triumphs during the 1980s. Inside the shirt, customised detailing includes the city motto: “Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again, Bon Accord.”
Technical Features
The shirt uses Macron’s Eco 3D Knit Matrix, a technical jacquard fabric produced from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. Its three-dimensional construction supports breathability, durability and natural mechanical stretch, with the woven surface adding texture across the jersey.

Red shorts complete the strip, featuring darker red side panels, white piping, the Aberdeen crest and Macron branding. The matching red socks include a dark red horizontal band below the cuff, a thin white stripe and white Macron logos.
