Wrexham AFC revealed their new Macron away shirt for the 21/22 season, featuring newly-signed partners, TikTok, Aviation Gin, Expedia and a personal touch from Rob McElhenney.
Wrexham next season will recognise chairman Rob McElhenney’s hometown of Philadelphia, with the green of the city’s most known team, the Philadelphia Eagles - as well as the collar and unique lace unlike anything in football.
The back of the shirt is just as personal, with the words ‘It’s Always Sunny…’ stitched in tribute to ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’, Rob’s award-winning comedy which has been enjoyed by so many since first airing in 2005 alongside his wife, Kaitlin Olson, Danny DeVito, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day.
