Costa Rica have unveiled a new Away shirt for 2021-22, covering the qualifying period for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Nodding to the famous striped look Los Ticos sported at Italia ’90, the new design boasts a modern graphical take on a black and white standard.
The sleeves and rear of the shirt are largely in plain white - the void on the back interrupted by the “COSTA RICA” detail high up - with the multitone crest and red “NB” logo adding colour to the chest.
For historical accuracy, the shirt should be worn with white shorts and socks, but it may be that black sets are available to be called upon too.
