DC United, of North American football’s MLS, have unveiled their new Away shirt.
The new secondary design by adidas - dubbed the “Marble Jersey” - features an architecture and monument-nodding texture pattern in blueish-grey, which is overlaid with the full colour crest, and the adidas logo and Leidos central sponsorship branding in blue. This tone matches that of the neck and cuffs - which both also feature red - and of the adidas striping on the shoulders.
For Major League Soccer matches in 2021, the Washington, DC side will wear the shirt - which includes a tag reflecting the mission to “Unite the District [of Columbia]” - with matching shorts and socks to complete a nominally one-colour kit.
