Celtic 2019-20 New Balance Away Kit

Celtic 2019-20 New Balance Away Kit #celticfc #TrebleTreble #nbfootball

Celtic's new 19/20 Away football shirt from New Balance was launched as part of the #OnToVictory campaign, inspired by the famous Celtic song ‘Celtic, Celtic that’s the team for me’.

The design takes inspiration from the road to Seville, on which the Bhoys enjoyed a series of unforgettable European nights.

The lemon chrome body of the shirt is complimented with deep teal green shoulders, complete with a modern geometric interpretation of the club’s iconic four-leaf clover crest that continues down the arms, with the satin stitch appliqued club crest sitting proudly on the shirt breast.

Classic Kits

A bonded chest seam provides comfort, while a mesh structure across the shoulders increases breathability and airflow. A ventilation zone integrated into the front body fabric helps to keep the players comfortable in all conditions.

The shorts are deep teal, with an athletic fit and step-change finish to help with freedom of movement, and deep teal and lemon chrome socks complete the kit.

The goalkeeper kit is all-purple with luminous detail and engineered in line with the outfield players’ kit.

General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said: “We looked back to the 2002/03 campaign and some of the big nights at Celtic Park and on the road in Europe, for inspiration here. We hope this new strip is remembered by fans for more iconic matchdays in the season ahead.”

All joking aside, Ian Durrant would look good in this kit. Shame we never got to see him pull on the hoops, or in this case, the butternut squash soup.
