CSKA Moscow 2014-15 Adidas Away Football Shirt

This is the 2014-15 season Away football shirt and kit, by adidas, for Russian football giants CSKA Moscow.

Heavily inspired by CSKA’s past as the official sporting wing of the USSR’s Soviet Army - the Russian ministry of defence is now a shareholder in the currently private entity - the white shirt is complemented with shades of grey camouflage-style pattern, along with grey collar and sleeve panels, and black adidas stripes on the shoulders. The adidas logo is in black, as is the sponsor’s logo, with the only true colour in the form of the faithful crest.

With popular opinion declaring Russian armed forces involvement in Ukrainian-based hostilities, the style of shirt - which will be worn with more minimalistically-styled shorts and socks - could be regarded as anything from recognitive, to topical, or, for some, perhaps even antagonistic, considering the likelihood of the new kit being worn in EU member states Italy, England (United Kingdom) and Germany in forthcoming Champions League matches.

I like the idea but Adidas could have done more with the rest of the shirt rather than this over used template.

That way the players can just go down to Ukraine, pick up arms and enter the battle.

Love the socks and the shirt, but man, those silly wings!
