This is the special edition Chicago Fire Third shirt, by adidas, debuted in the club's 17th anniversary celebrating match against Impact Montréal.
The shirt, which came about via a fan design competition, is largely black, with white and sky blue details, also incorporating elements of the Chicago city flag. The adidas stripes are white, as is the logo of the club sponsor, Quaker.
In the match with Montréal, the shorts were matching black and the socks were in sky blue but, in future games, this may be subject to change as situations dictate.
