Southend United have launched their brand new away kit for the coming Coca-Cola League One season today at the Club's Meet the Blues Day event.
Thousands of fans flocked to Boots and Laces today to meet United's players and staff and as part of the events, the 2007/08 away shirt was unveiled. Following on from last month's launch of the all navy home shirt, Southend will be turning out in a sky blue and navy effort away from Roots Hall.
Also made once by Nike, the away kit is from the Classic II range, and comes complete with Dri-Fit Mesh panels at the side and back to help the shirt breathe. United's shirt will continue to carry the Insure and Go main sponsor logo on the front, with shirt back sponsors Haart featured on the rear. Fans moved in their hundreds to buy the shirt from the Club Shop.
