West Bromwich Albion announce Palm Shirt Sponsorship Deal

West Bromwich Albion announced China’s eco-town specialists Palm as the Club’s new Principal Sponsor for the 2017/18 Premier League season.

The announcement triggers the countdown to Thursday’s reveal of next season’s new kit which will carry the Palm logo on the front of the shirt.

Palm was founded in 1984 and operates in more than 20 cities in China, Hong Kong and Europe.

It is closely associated with the Club’s controlling shareholder Guochuan Lai who was co-founder of the company’s successful eco-town development arm.

With a key focus on the living eco-environment in the past three decades, Palm provides clients with the industry-wide chain services required for the ecological environment, including design and landscaping.

The company is the leader in integrated environment operations.

The long-term strategic goal of Palm is to become a leading global eco-town operator and remain a leader in China’s new urban transformation to optimise the nation’s economic structure.

The partnership will enable Palm to capitalise on the global power of the Premier League and their sponsorship of Albion will drive brand awareness around the world.

The sponsorship will help the Club build stronger links in the Chinese market, developing the Albion brand and drive commercial growth in Asia.

Albion confirm the Club continues its partnership with adidas into the 2017/18 Premier League season, with the sportswear brand manufacturing home, away and goalkeeper kits as well as training wear.
