It’s quite a phenomenon that, somehow, a football kit fan’s interest is similarly piqued by something new and something familiarly vintage.

These 1994 “Soccer Master” catalogue pages, which were brought to our attention by Jimmy from The Glove Bag, are fittingly goalkeeper apparel-heavy. With adidas and Umbro shirts which equally scream “mid-nineties” and “don’t hesitate to wear me on Hackney Marshes the moment the pandemic’s done”, and trefoiled and double diamonded work of art gloves, our current era somehow holds a mirror up to the USA-hosted World Cup’s epoque.

Racing Club de Lens and Macron have revealed the new away kit the team will wear in the upcoming 2020-21 season.

The “Away” shirt is black with petrol green detailing. The graphic detail of the shirt shows several small lanterns, the same that we find on the personalized backneck.

The Elysia has been rethought for the new season. If we find once again in its construction panels in hexagonal form, the symbol of France and the trophy of Ligue 1 Uber Eats, the ball this year has added a stylized star and new colours: blue, fluorescent yellow and fluorescent red livening things up!

Arsenal FC have launched and released - and sported in their return to 2019-20 Premier League action - their 2020-21 season adidas training wear.

Like with other teams supplied by the German manufacturer, there is an alternate-colouring to the logos and adidas striping on the items, which are, in the main, "Yellow Tint" and "Tech Indigo", with embellishment in shades of blue, lemon and pink on a rotation. Carrying the new branding of airline Emirates - the “Fly” prefix is replaced by a “Fly Better” suffix - much of the range is likely to be popular thanks to the variety in style and colouring.
