We published an article about the Nike Tiempo 94 a while ago, but Nike now officially released the limited-edition, limited-distribution Tiempo 94 Men's Football Boot, which celebrates the heritage of the Tiempo and Paolo Maldini, the player who first wore the boot and made it legendary in it the 1994 world championship football tournament in the US.

This new edition features the latest innovations to make it a lighter, tougher boot.  Only 2,500 pairs are available in Europe through select retailers and available here.

Adidas Predator X

Adidas launched the new Adidas Predator X Football Boots, which are available through the FSC Shop. Its the Tenth Generation Predator and one of the most eagerly anticipated football boots in a very long time. The adidas Predator X has arrived with expectation of been the 'most powerful football boot in the world.' Its improved power not only helps in its aim to achieve more swerve and control but gives the player more confidence in their performance. Through vigorous testing the Predator X is proven to have on average 7% more kicking power than the most recent Predator football boot.

The boot has been designed with the help and insight from one of the greatest footballers of all time, Zinedine Zidane, and will be worn some of the best players in the modern game such as Steven Gerrard and Michael Ballack.

It’s been one of the most talked about boots of the year – the latest addition to the Nike football boot family. And now it’s here.

Nike has the Total 90 Laser II for power, the Superfly and Vapor V for speed and for touch, there’s the heritage classic that is the Tiempo. And today they reveal the fourth boot in their line up, the eagerly anticipated CTR360.

The elite level boot is the CTR360 Maestri for which Nike say they have pushed the technological boundaries to create a boot with greater control. Working with their stable of top internationals (and let’s face it, they’ve got a few to choose from) Nike have come up with a boot that will deliver from the last line of defence to the first point of attack.

The CTR360 is available through the FSC Shop in two colourways – Red / Black / White and secondary version in White / Black / Yellow - or Design Your 360CTR with NIKEiD

puma-v110-football-boots-7.jpg

Today, PUMA launches its latest speed football boot range, the v1.10.

As the successor to the v1.08, we’d been hoping that some of the early images that started floating around cyber-space at the start of the year were wide of the mark. Sadly, they weren’t. Having received two pairs of the new football boots, experts can report that the v1.10’s are something of a let down.

No doubt other reviews will be more flattering, but at Footy Boots, they don’t answer to any retailers so therefore, they are at liberty to give it to you as they see it.

So buckle up…this is going to be a rough ride.
